Scholarships

Where do I apply?

Visit www.piquaeducationfoundation.org to create a user ID and password. Once logged in, follow the prompts to submit a scholarship application.

Who is eligible to apply?

Piqua High School seniors graduating in 2025 and Piqua High School graduates from the three prior graduating classes (2024, 2023, and 2022) are eligible to apply for the 2025-2026 academic year.

*Students taking a gap year or who have other extenuating circumstances should email scholarships@piquaeducationfoundation.org with details and a request for consideration by the PEF Scholarships Committee.

What information is needed to apply?

Applicants will need their most recent OFFICIAL transcript in .pdf format and their college, university, or trade school student ID number to complete the application.

*Piqua High School seniors may submit an unofficial copy of their PHS transcript.

When can I apply?

Applications will be accepted January 1st, 2025 through March 31st, 2025. Applications received after March 31st will not be considered.

When will I find out if I am awarded a PEF scholarship?

Applicants will be kept informed of important deadlines and notifications by email. Notification dates may vary, but applicants will receive an email either way.

What are the criteria for PEF scholarship awards?

PEF scholarship awards are competitive and are calculated based upon a proprietary algorithm that considers the student’s GPA and other measurable factors to determine eligibility.

Will I receive less scholarship money if I submit FAFSA documentation?

No. Students who submit FAFSA documentation that shows a demonstrated financial need may receive additional funds to supplement their scholarship award, but a student who qualifies for a PEF scholarship based upon our algorithm will not have their scholarship amount lowered based upon information in their FAFSA documentation.

I didn’t receive a confirmation email, what do I do?

Confirmation emails are sent automatically from info@piquaeducationfoundation.org. Check your spam/junk folder first. If you still do not see a confirmation email, reach out to PEF’s Foundation Manager, Daniele Blevins, at scholarships@piquaeducationfoundation.org or 937-733-5337.
